Meet our new plant

This is our new plant. We haven't given it a name yet, but we are open to suggestions if you have any.

We took care a of a friend's plant for a week while he was on vacation and we decided that greenery is very soothing.

If we're able to keep this plant alive for any extended period of time we might upgrade to a fish or a gerbil. We'll see where this new responsibility takes us.

We're sure happy and thrilled that you're trying to grow up by now! I imagine that you can handle a bit more responsibility.
Watching anxiously :)

Great new addition! My greenery consists of fakeness, I can't keep things alive, good thing the girls are different!

I love the red flower thing! So pretty. I suggest Becky as the name. JK. :)

How fun. I know seriously, I wondered about ever having a kid because I can't keep a plant alive. Christian got me a gorgeous orchid for mother's day in May. I watered it and truly tried my hardest to keep it alive, 2 months later it was toast.

Hey kids, congratulations on the new addition! It looks like a tropical plant to me--maybe Hawaiian? You could name it "Keiki" (keh-ee-kee), which means child! Or "Pua" which means flower. I couldn't figure out how to say "pet" or "plant" in Hawaiian... Guess I could talk to Bro. Barrows. Have fun with it and we hope it grows big and strong!
